About The Presentation
The paper, META eLearning, details four elements in a framework for best practice design and development of instruction and the extension of elearning using open source technology and open educational resources (OER). This paper also explores the research on instruction and e-learning. Sound e-learning design and practice that is established on research and instructional design models, provides a solid foundation for integrating a number of innovative e-learning extensions. This paper explores four key ways of facilitating an enhanced e-learning experience that is based on current research into instruction and e-learning, there are: Moodle, eportfolios (Mahara), the TEC-VARIETY model and applications (both web and mobile).
