About The Presentation

Title How to guarantee your change is integrated to Moodle core
Description

As Moodle is open source, you can easily customise it for the needs of your insituation as you see fit. But the best benefits for the community come from when everyone shares their own changes back to Moodle core, we all benefit from each others work and influence.

At Moodle HQ, we'd love to get every single patch contributed by the community integrated into core. At the same time, we continue to try and raise our quality and testing standard to keep the core stable. Unfortunately it is not always possible to accept every patch contributed to us.

In this presentation I will explain how you can ensure success of your patch making its way into core from the perspective of an integrator at Moodle HQ, deciding what will make it into the core releases.
